The X Workshop on Language, Context, and Cognition, hosted at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, convenes leading philosophers, linguists, and cognitive scientists from prestigious institutions across the Americas. This interdisciplinary gathering, taking place from April 12-14, 2024, will delve into the intricate interplay between language and cognition, exploring themes such as vagueness, conceptual engineering, the dynamics of conversation, and the impact of technology on linguistic evolution. Through a series of talks and discussions, the workshop aims to foster collaborative dialogue, challenge existing paradigms, and pave new avenues for research in understanding how language shapes and is shaped by cognitive and social contexts.
